Amari Phuket Resort

Amari Phuket is a resort with a very unique location on Patong Beach. The hotel is blessed with its own beach with an amazing view on the entire bay and most of the rooms are facing the sea! This 4 star resort is located just at the southern end on Patong, just past a large bridge, making it the perfect hotel if you want to enjoy the best of both worlds: to be close enough to the fun of Patong and still being able enjoy peace and quiet of the ocean in a green surrounding.

Amari Phuket Resort

Amari Phuket resort is now divided in 2 wings: the original seafront wing and the new luxurious hillside ‘Club Suites’ offering a total of 380 superbly appointed rooms all with sea views.

Guests can enjoy 3 restaurants, 3 large swimming pools and a beautiful spa with private sea view massage rooms and even a fancy jetty to suntan like a movie star.

La Gritta, the very popular Italian restaurant overlooking the sea, is widely know as being the most romantic restaurant in Phuket. Also near the sea, Rim Talay is where you will most probably enjoy a superb buffet breakfast but also lunch and dinner. In front of Rim Talay, having a cocktail or two on the sea deck or by the pool is a nice treat. If you are lucky enough to stay in a Club Suite up the hill, you will also enjoy panoramic meals at the Club lounge.

Not to miss is a walk through the hotel jungle to ‘The ‘Jetty’ where you also can spend a nice peaceful day in one of the nice loungers and enjoy the a drink from the bar. A great place to do snorkeling as well! For those who want to keep in shape, the fitness room is well equipped and tennis courts are available.

We stayed in an exclusive Club Suite located at the very top of the hill, as beautifully design apartment with high ceiling, large balconies and floor to ceiling windows and stunning views of the bay of Patong. With a large and well appointed cooking station, a central island and a large dining area, the 2 bedroom villa is a perfect place to stay with a small family. The balcony is immense with sun loungers and great to sit with a glass of wine, admiring the clouds drifting above hectic Patong.

Next to our villa is the Club Lounge where you will probably spend a lot of time. Large infinity pool, again with panoramic views of the bay, large panoramic terrace to enjoy one more holiday drink and a small restaurant for any meal but mostly convenient for breakfast. As the rooms are located on the hillside, you can call for a buggy to come and pick you up anytime to take you to the lobby or parking.

A special mention should also be made about the crew and the management, their well known attention to small details and they permanent effort to make sure everyone feels at home.

Once you are done exploring the many features of the hotel  and you  are ready for some fun, Patong Beach is not far and tuk tuks or taxis are always standing by to give you a quick ride.
