The SIS Kata Hotel Review

The SIS Kata (which means Stay In Style) is a 4-star hotel with 124 rooms and suites, an immense rooftop swimming pool, and a restaurant overlooking the south of Kata Beach on the west coast of Phuket Island. The hotel is very popular with modern rooms and well-designed facilities at a very affordable rate.

The location

The SIS is 300 meters from the south of Kata Beach, a spot for surfers, with several seafood restaurants and the popular Ska Bar.

The room

There are 124 rooms and suites to choose from, and we treated ourselves to a seaview suite overlooking the infinity pool.

The restaurant

The Starlight is a vast breezy poolside restaurant where guests can enjoy all their meals. The restaurant is spacious and well-designed, with enough space between the tables to be at ease. Dinner at Twilight Sky, the panoramic terrace, is undoubtedly the best place for dinner, with breathtaking views of Kata Beach, the Andaman Sea and the little iconic island called Koh Pu.

The hotel can even set up a romantic table for couples to have a special dinner or even to propose at we had the pleasure of witnessing.

Spa and facilities

The resort features a large Spa (by Let’s Relax) and a small fitness room.

The swimming pools

There are two swimming pools to enjoy at the SIS: the beautiful Crescent Infinity Pool, where guests spend most of their time, and Stella Starlight Pool, on a lower level.
