Khum Kathu Mookata Review

Khum Kathu is a popular mookata restaurant in Kathu with a unique location by a small lake. In addition to the relaxing view, the open air allows a cool breeze to flow through the dining area. In case you haven’t heard what mookata is, mookata is a popular Thai dining style that combines Korean BBQ and hot pot, where diners grill meat and cook vegetables in broth on top of the same pan, shared in the middle of the table. It is a fun way to enjoy a typical Thai dinner with friends.

The dishes are a la carte, and therefore, the food is of higher quality than the usual buffet style. The price is slightly higher, too, but the quality justifies it.  In addition to the meat, seafood, and veggies that are grilled or boiled, Khum Kathu Mookata also serves grilled meats and steaks. The team is friendly and helpful, and there is a large car park in front of the restaurant.
