With an immense and beautiful beach, Karon is probably the third most popular beach on the island. It has the right amount of restaurants, shopping and nightlife, plus a good range of hotels to please all budgets.
There are only two hotels with real beach access; Beyond Resort Karon and Centara Grand Beach Resort. Other hotels, such as Paradox Karon Resort, are located across a large road but it only takes a couple of minutes to reach the sea.
