Andaman White Beach Resort

A Hidden Spot Near Phuket Airport

Andaman White Beach Resort feels like one of those places that time forgot, in a good way. Itโ€™s not shiny or new, and it doesnโ€™t try to compete with the big luxury brands around Phuket. But what it does have is something very few hotels can offer โ€” a truly private beach thatโ€™s beautiful, quiet, and surprisingly unknown.

Andaman White Beach on Naithon Noi Beach

Youโ€™ll find it just south of Naithon Beach, only about 15 minutes from Phuket International Airport, which makes it incredibly convenient for a short stay. Yet once you drive through the gate and down the steep road to the hotel, it feels like youโ€™ve dropped off the map. The beach is a long stretch of soft sand in a bay thatโ€™s almost fully enclosed by headlands. Access is controlled by the hotel, so it rarely gets any outside visitors. Iโ€™ve been a few times and there were only a handful of guests each time โ€” no jet skis, no crowds, no noise.

The hotel itself is built into the hillside, with rooms, bungalows, and suites scattered among the trees. Most have sea views, and some are just steps from the beach. The buildings are older, and the design is more traditional than stylish, but everything is functional and comfortable enough. Itโ€™s not a place you come for fancy interiors or over-the-top service โ€” itโ€™s more about enjoying the quiet and that massive beach right in front of you.

The pool is a decent size and sits above the beach, with plenty of shade from the surrounding palm trees. There are two restaurants, both with sea views. The food is fairly standard, a mix of Thai and Western, and while nothing really stands out, itโ€™s the setting that makes meals memorable. Sunset dinners on the terrace are especially nice โ€” you can hear the waves below and watch the sky change colours while you eat.

This is also one of those rare spots in Phuket where you can take beach photos with no one in the background. The tall coconut trees, white sand, and curved bay make it perfect for Instagram shots, and because itโ€™s so quiet, youโ€™ll usually have the space to yourself. Iโ€™ve seen wedding shoots here more than once, which says a lot about how photogenic it is.

Andaman White Beach Resort may not suit everyone, especially if youโ€™re after modern rooms or lots of nightlife. But if you just want a peaceful place near the airport with a fantastic beach and a bit of old Phuket charm, itโ€™s still worth considering.

This hotel is not for party people; it is more addressed to couples. The small seaside town of Naithon is nearby, with a few more restaurants to enjoy and famous fruit stalls. While the beach is one of the most beautiful in Phuket, the hotel received mixed reviews regarding the roomโ€™s condition.
