L’Arôme by the Sea Phuket is a contemporary French restaurant serving modern cuisine over Kalim Beach, with amazing views of the Andaman Sea, without a doubt one of the best restaurants in Phuket. Chef Yannick Hollenstein from Switzerland shares his passion with sophisticated dishes and surprising compositions in a perfectly balanced menu.

L’Arôme by the Sea offers two distinct dining experiences. One is the restaurant area, featuring modern French cuisine with a subtle Swiss Alps influence, and the other is the sunset deck, providing a relaxed setting for drinks with breathtaking views of the Andaman Sea.

The Restaurant

The restaurant area is stylish and serene, with a design that draws inspiration from its seaside location. The soft blue and deep navy colour tones, combined with plush velvet furnishings, create a calming atmosphere that allows the food to take centre stage.

Combined with the view and spotless service, our dining experience was delightful and unforgettable. The restaurant is relatively new but has already made it to the Michelin Guide for Thailand, which is not surprising. The wine list is superb, and the lady sommelier describes each wine concisely.

The service at L’Arôme by the Sea is impeccable. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable, and they go out of their way to make sure that you have a memorable dining experience.

Sunset Deck Rooftop Bar

L’Arôme by the Sea, which is at the north end of Kalim Beach, is also a rooftop bar open from 4 pm, and if you get lucky, you will enjoy a sunset on Patong Bay. The Sunset Deck is the perfect place to enjoy a pre-dinner aperitif or post-dinner digestif while watching the sun sink below the horizon. With its comfortable seating and unobstructed views, it’s the perfect place to relax and unwind.
