L’Arôme by the Sea Phuket is a contemporary French restaurant on Kalim Beach that serves modern cuisine. With amazing views of the Andaman Sea, it is undoubtedly one of the best restaurants in Phuket.

Chef Adrien Delcourt from France (Ex Executive Chef of Le Jules Verne Paris) shares his passion for sophisticated dishes and surprising compositions in a perfectly balanced menu.

L’Arôme by the Sea offers two distinct dining experiences. The restaurant area features modern French cuisine with a subtle Swiss Alps influence, and the sunset deck provides a relaxed setting for drinks and breathtaking views of the Andaman Sea.

The Restaurant

The restaurant area is stylish and serene, with a design that draws inspiration from its seaside location. The soft blue and deep navy colour tones and plush velvet furnishings create a calming atmosphere that allows the food to take centre stage.

Combined with the view and spotless service, our dining experience was delightful and unforgettable. The restaurant is relatively new but has already made it to the Michelin Guide for Thailand, which is unsurprising. The wine list is superb, and the sommelier describes each wine concisely.

About Chef Adrien Delcourt

Adrien Delcourt is a young, talented chef with over 10 years of experience in world-renowned Michelin-starred restaurants. He was brought up within the prestigious Robuchon and had been put on the bench of famous chefs such as Frederic Anton, Axel Menes, and David Bizet.

Highlights of Adrien’s career include taking the reins at the helm of the Le Jules Verne kitchen at the top of the Eiffel Tower, where he earned his first Michelin star in 2019 and helped the restaurant achieve two stars this year. He has a very innovative spirit in his cooking style. He creates seasonal menus and manages highly pressurized kitchen environments, hence bringing out a dynamic and influential leader in the culinary field.

Sunset Deck Rooftop Bar

L’Arôme by the Sea, which is at the north end of Kalim Beach, also has a rooftop bar open from 4 pm, and if you get lucky, you will enjoy a sunset on Patong Bay. The Sunset Deck is the perfect place to enjoy a pre-dinner aperitif or post-dinner digestif while watching the sun sink below the horizon. Its comfortable seating and unobstructed views make it the perfect place to relax and unwind.
