Siam Supper Club in Bang Tao Beach
Siam Supper Club is a long-established cosy restaurant near Bang Tao Beach, on the west coast of Phuket. The restaurant is mostly a steakhouse that also serves an excellent choice of European comfort food. As you enter the restaurant, the warm interior mostly made of varnished wood may look a little intimidating. Still, the atmosphere is very casual and easy-going, and the prices are surprisingly affordable.
Siam Supper Club is at the entrance of the Laguna Phuket complex, where all the luxurious resorts of Bang Tao Beach are, and the area has progressively become the upmarket part of Phuket. After a few days or weeks of enjoying Thai food in Phuket, you might want to treat yourself to something special.
As you enter, the long bar counter is the first thing you will notice. Having a drink at the bar before dinner is an excellent way to start the evening, as well as appreciate the bartender’s skills. The sitting is very comfortable and accommodates couples, families as well as groups of friends.
What to order
The menu at Siam Supper Club is surprisingly long and varied, making it perfect to gather with friends and enjoy your holiday with a dish for everyone. You can choose from a list of meats: truffle honey roast chicken, aged grilled Angus ribeye or tenderloin steaks, Australian lamb racks and delicious barbequed smoked pork spare ribs. The restaurant also serves salads, pasta, pizza and even a few Thai dishes.
The wine list is impressive and starts at affordable prices. Wines by the glass are excellent and generously served.
