A New Beach Club in Bang Tao Beach

Tichuca Phuket, the newest addition to Phuket’s beach club scene, offers a fantastic tropical ambience with excellent music, and the iconic decor of the illuminated roof at the Tichuca Rooftop Bar in Bangkok. What sets Tichuca Phuket apart is its truly unique location right on the sand of Bang Tao Beach. Kick off your shoes and walk on the soft sand to admire the sunset and dance to the tunes of the talented DJ.

Guests can sit at tables or on one of the many bean bags on the beach. The view from this cosy spot is superb if you get a sunset to go with your drinks. There are two bars where bar tenders skilfully prepare the many cocktails available on the menu. The snack list is quite limited but the portions are generous. The team is friendly and very attentive.

We arrived at 17;45 and there were good seats available. The beach club started to get quite full around 6 pm as guests came to enjoy the sunset and blue hours. The parking can be a bit challenging if you drive a car and arrive after 6.

Tichuca Beach Club is only open during the high season, so come and enjoy it while it is open! (we will update the information as soon as we get the dates)

Where does the name Tichuca come from?

From a previous visit, we heard that ‘Ti’ comes from the name Tijuca National Bark in Brazil, and ‘Chuca’ loosely comes from Mezcal Pechuca (Pechuga), which is associated with fun parties.

Tichuca rooftop bar is a high-rise venue in Bangkok, and since its opening, has been a big success among the many rooftop bars in Bangkok. The attractive and unusual design spreading over several floors is beautiful and is intensely shared on social media.
