A Hidden Cafe in Kata Beach
Laem Sai Cup is another little cafe hidden on the hills of Kata Beach, overlooking the Andaman Sea. The cafe consists of several terraces made of bamboo connected by narrow staircases leading all the way to boulders in the sea. Guests can relax on those typical Thai square cushions or lie down on colourful mattresses.
Leam Sai Cup only serves a selection of coffees, a few soft drinks and a couple of simple snacks such as chicken nuggets. The place is very modest but very relaxing.
To get to Laem Sai Cup, you can take a taxi or tuk-tuk from Karon or Kata Beaches. The cafe is also accessible on foot, but the walk is quite steep. Laem Sai Cup is a unique and special place where you can enjoy stunning views of the Andaman Sea in a peaceful and relaxing setting. It is definitely worth a visit if you are in the Kata Beach area.
