A new heritage Thai restaurant in Phuket Town
House of Tin Baron is a Thai restaurant in Phuket Town, set in a beautifully renovated Sino-Portuguese heritage house. The name ‘House of Tin Baron’ refers to the era when the main resource of Phuket was tin mining. The house of Tin Baron now serves an elegant and sophisticated Italian Cuisine.
This amazing mansion was abandoned decades ago, and we had the chance to walk around it and take a few photos of it long ago (see below). The architects and designers who did the renovation did an amazing job of preserving the soul of the house.
