Hooters Phuket
Hooters Phuket is the first Hooters location in Thailand. It opened in Patong and sits on Ruamjai Road, right next to Hard Rock Cafe and the Dusit D2 hotel. If you know the brand, you know what to expect: American-style food, cold beer, big screens showing live sports, and the Hooters Girls in their signature uniforms. It is one of those places that does exactly what it says, and it draws a steady crowd of tourists and expats looking for familiar comfort food in Patong Beach.
Atmosphere
The restaurant follows the Hooters beach-theme design with a large outdoor patio and indoor seating for more than 150 guests. It has a casual, loud and lively feel, especially in the evening. Big screens around the bar show football, basketball, golf and other live sports. The Hooters Girls perform dance routines at regular intervals during the night, which adds to the party atmosphere. It is not a quiet dinner spot, but that is the whole point.
About the Food
The menu is classic American bar food. The buffalo chicken wings are the signature dish and come in over 15 sauces and five dry rubs. You can also order boneless wings, burgers (250g beef patties), BBQ ribs, fish and chips, tacos, nachos, sandwiches and salads. There is a lighter “Wise Choice” section on the menu for those watching calories. Drinks include a wide selection of draft beers, cocktails and their signature Hooterade.
Good to Know
Hooters runs daily promotions. Happy hour is Monday to Friday from 3 pm to 4 pm with 50% off the entire menu. Wednesday is all-you-can-eat wings night. The restaurant is open from midday to 2 am, making it a good option for late-night food after an evening on Bangla Road, which is just a short walk away. Credit cards are accepted.
