Thavorn Beach Village
Thavorn Beach Village is a long-established resort on a private beach at Nakalay Bay, just north of Patong Beach on Phuket’s west coast. The resort has been around for decades and sits on one of the quietest stretches of sand in the Patong area.
The property is built into a hillside, with rooms and villas spread across the slope down to the beach. The grounds are lush and green, with big trees and tropical gardens everywhere. The main pool faces the sea, and the beach itself is small but uncrowded because it is reserved for hotel guests.
Thavorn has a different character from the newer five-star resorts. It has a slightly older style, but the setting and the private beach make up for it. The resort has its own restaurant, a spa, and a fitness centre. It is a short drive or boat ride from Patong, so you can easily visit the town for dinner or shopping without giving up the quiet beach.
