We’ve uncovered ‘Shhh’, one of Phuket’s most intriguing nightlife experiences hidden in the heart of Old Town, right on Thalang Road, where the famous Sunday Walking Street Market is held. Thousands of people walk by the entrance hidden behind a fake vending machine, and very few know what is hiding behind. Even though we were actively looking for it, we had a hard time finding it; we had to ask the shop next door, called Cabana Co.

Finding Shhh. Phuket becomes part of the adventure itself. The bar’s entrance remains completely disguised behind a door that looks like a key-cutting shop on Thalang Road. We need to look for a door covered in keys, then pass through what appears to be a key shop facade to reach the actual bar on the second floor. Many visitors circle Old Town multiple times before discovering the secret entrance – the “secrecy level” rates 10 out of 10.

The bar’s signature feature includes floor-to-ceiling AI-animated projections displaying famous global landmarks on both walls.
