Where to Eat in Bang Tao Beach?
Bang Tao Beach is blessed with a surprisingly vast amount of restaurants, from modest roadside venues to beach restaurants and high-end cuisine. We visited quite a few in Bang Tao, which is part of the wider Cherngtalay district, and the area keeps surprising us with the quality of dining, which is higher than on the rest of the island. Here, we list some of the best restaurants in Bang Tao Beach and Cherngtalay. Of course, there are many more, and we will continue adding them as we explore this part of Phuket Island.

SōL Phuket is a new all-day dining spot near Bang Tao Beach, opened in late 2024 by Chef Top Russell. If that name sounds familiar, he’s the Thai chef behind Mia in Bangkok, which has held a Michelin star for three consecutive years. Sol is his hometown project, a return to the island where he grew up.
