Sunset Bar on Koh Yao Noi
The Sunset Bar on Koh Yao Noi is a small beachfront bar facing west across Phang Nga Bay. It is the kind of place that barely existed online until people started sharing photos of its sunset views. The bar sits right on the sand, with low tables, cushions, and a handful of swings facing the water.
The setting is simple and relaxed. There is no DJ, no pool, and no entrance fee. Drinks are affordable, and the food menu is basic Thai and Western. What makes it worth visiting is the view. As the sun goes down behind the limestone karsts scattered across the bay, the light changes in a way that is hard to find anywhere else in the region.
Koh Yao Noi is a quiet island between Phuket and Krabi, reachable by a 30-minute speedboat from Bang Rong Pier on Phuket’s east coast. The island has very little nightlife, so this bar is one of the few evening options.
