Phuket Boat Lagoon was the first marina built in Phuket several decades ago, and at the time, it was one of the trendiest places for residents and expats. While it is just next to the Royal Phuket Marina, Phuket Boat Lagoon is more of a living marina than its counterpart. It might be less fancy, but it is a residential marina. On one side is the residential area with shophouse-style houses; on the other, you can choose one of the many casual restaurants and bars set by the waterfront. Phuket Boat Lagoon is 10 kilometres north of Phuket Town.
A large area on the side is dedicated to boating maintenance and repair, an occasion to admire a superb collection of yachts in the water or standing on hardstands (Marina & Boat Repairs With 180 wet berths, 144 hardstands and 12 dry stacking bays)
Near the main road, anyone can stop to enjoy a living mall with coffee shops and a vast supermarket, plus a good independent spa and even a wedding chapel!

The main shopping at Boat Lagoon is, without a doubt, Villa Market, a high-end retail shop selling a mix of great local products and an immense selection of imported goods. Their wine cellar is also impressive.
