Royal Phuket Marina
Royal Phuket Marina is a luxury harbour with exclusive condos and villas on the east coast of Phuket island, just next to the Phuket Boat Lagoon Marina. The marina is home to a vast condominium complex, originally designed to feature many high-end restaurants and shops. The marina is not very large but looks beautiful, surrounded by modern Thai-style private villas and their luxury yachts moored in front. It is also a chance to admire some incredible floating cruisers and try to guess how much they cost!
The Royal Phuket Marina was meant to be the luxury hub for Phuket yachters, and indeed it was for a while a must-go place for dinner and events. But once past the novelty phase, the site never really took off and remained a little too quiet to call it a success. Many restaurants tried their luck, but as the harbour is a little too far from tourist beaches, it relied mostly on the expat community to operate. As expected, locals enjoyed the fun for a few years, but as the novelty wore off, they moved to newer places.
The marina is still home to a couple of restaurants. Most luxury apartments look unoccupied, and many shops are now empty. Even the once-popular Kids Club recently closed its doors.

RPM Health Club is a high-end fitness and wellness club open every day. It’s well designed with superb equipment and facilities, including classes and private trainers. We used them for a couple of years with great results.
