What to Do on Yaowarat Road?
Yaowarat Road in old Phuket Town connects the popular heritage streets of Thalang Road, Phang Nga Road and Dibuk Road, starting from the fountain circle near the municipal market. The Yaowarat Road of Phuket is, of course, not to be confused with the street of the same name, Yaowarat Road in Bangkok, better known as Chinatown.ย Phuket is modest but growing in popularity, with many restaurants, shops and fun bars to enjoy as you discover the old town.
Limpanon House
Sa-Nguan Mansion, or Limpanon House, is an abandoned old Phuket family house built more than 100 years ago. It is hidden at the Intersection of Yaowarat Road and Phang Nga Road. The door of the โtunnelโ leading to this mansion was opened for a long time, but it has been locked for years now; probably too many people tried to sneak in. This is one of the most mysterious houses in town.

Lock Tien Food Court
Lock Tien food court in Phuket Town is a place every person living in Phuket long enough knows. It doesnโt look like much, but with a 50-year-old history, itโs probably the oldest food court on the island. What really matters is that Lock Tien serves some real Phuket specialities.

O Cha Rot
O Cha Rot is an unassuming local restaurant, but it serves one of the best noodle soups in Phuket Town, so good that it made it to the Michelin Guide in Phuket. The restaurant has no decoration whatsoever, white walls, a stainless steel cooking station and stainless steel tables. Most travellers walk past the place without a second look, but we probably go to O Cha Rot restaurant about once a week!

The prices are reasonable but higher than in local shops, but the food is good, making Punte a convenient spot to take a break during your exploration of Old Phuket Town.
