Ya Nui Beach
Ya Nui Beach is a small cove on Phuket’s southern tip, squeezed between Nai Harn Beach and the Promthep Cape viewpoint. The beach is only about 100 metres wide, but it packs a lot into a small space.
The water is calm and shallow during the high season, making it good for swimming and snorkelling. Rocky areas at both ends of the beach are popular for exploring, and kayaks are available for rent to paddle out to the small island just offshore. The beach has a couple of small restaurants serving Thai food and cold drinks at reasonable prices.
Ya Nui is easy to reach by road and has a car park right above the beach. It is a popular stop for people driving the scenic route around the southern cape, often combined with a visit to the Windmill Viewpoint just up the hill.
The beach is small, so it can feel busy on peak days, but the atmosphere stays relaxed. It is a good spot for a quick swim and lunch between sightseeing stops in the south. For the full guide, see Ya Nui Beach.
