Beachfront Hotel in Panwa Beach
My Beach Resort sits on a quiet bay in Cape Panwa, about 20 minutes from Phuket Town on the island’s east coast. I’ve been here several times, and it’s one of those places that feels like a proper escape. No crowds, no noise from busy roads, just a small beach and 77 rooms spread across a hillside.
The resort opened in 2017 and has been in the Michelin Guide every year since 2019. That recognition comes from the design and service rather than the food, though the restaurant is good.

The Rooms

Nine room types range from 38 to 48 sqm. The Deluxe rooms sit on upper levels with balconies. Pool Access rooms let you step straight into the water from your terrace. The Private Pool Beachfront rooms are the top tier, with your own plunge pool steps from the sand.
Rates start around 5,000 to 6,000 Baht in the low season and climb higher in peak months. Everything feels modern and clean. Beds are comfortable. The outdoor bathtubs on some balconies are a nice touch.
The Beach Situation

Here’s the honest part. The beach is lovely at high tide. Crystal clear water, calm conditions, hardly anyone around. But at low tide, rocks and coral make swimming tricky. You’ll want water shoes. During monsoon season from May to October, seaweed and debris wash up. Staff clean twice daily, but nature wins sometimes.
Food and Facilities
My Café serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with sea views. The buffet breakfast is genuinely good with both Thai and Western options. There’s also a sky bar for sunset drinks and Jouet D’Art, a quirky Victorian-style bakery on the beach that does excellent pastries.
Two pools overlook the bay. Free kayaks and paddleboards if you want to get on the water. No lift, though, so if stairs are difficult, ask about the golf cart service.
No Events
My Café
Relax and enjoy the laid-back atmosphere and stunning blue views at My Café. Sit by the pool, lounge on the hanging chairs, or stay indoors to watch the chefs in the open kitchen. Start your day with an Asian and international buffet breakfast, along with a variety of teas and coffees. The restaurant is welcoming and well-designed, perfect for relaxing with a drink or even getting some work done, as we did.
Jouet D’Art Bakery
Inspired by fairy tales, Jouet D’Art (Art Toys) features Victorian-style creations within glass walls and mirrors, offering a stunning view of tranquil Panwa Beach and its glistening sea. Embracing unconventional ideas, we invite guests to embark on a sensory journey: admire breathtaking sunsets, listen to rhythmic waves, savour the aroma of freshly baked treats, and indulge in our culinary delights.
Who It’s For

Couples want peace and quiet. Families who don’t need constant entertainment. Anyone tired of the West Coast chaos? It’s 20 km from Patong, which is either perfect or inconvenient depending on what you want from Phuket.
