About Cafe Phuket Viewpoint
Cafe Phuket Viewpoint is a small roadside cafe on the winding coast road between Patong and Kamala on Phuket’s west coast. The place has been around for a long time under different names but became popular more recently thanks to Instagram. The view from the terrace looks down over the turquoise water of the coast below.
The cafe is small, with just a few tables set on a narrow terrace that juts out from the hillside. The real draw is the view, which looks straight down at the sea and the rocky coastline. On a clear day, the colour of the water is impressive, especially in the late morning when the sun is directly overhead.
Drinks and snacks are simple and reasonably priced. It is not a destination for food, but it is a good place to stop for a coffee or a cold drink while driving between beaches. The nearby Secret Bay is just down the road, so the two can easily be combined.
