Located along the beach road of Patong Beach, Courtyard by Marriott Phuket, Patong Beach Resort is a popular hotel with an excellent location, with the beach just across the street. The vibrant nightlife of Bangla Road is just a short tuk-tuk ride away. You can even walk there if you don’t mind a casual walk, as there are many restaurants, bars and shops to enjoy on the way. The hotel is big but spacious, with large rooms and vast swimming pools in large central areas, so it is not crowded.
While the front of the hotel is just across the street from the beach, the back is very near the popular OTOP Night Market, where guests can enjoy fun shopping and cheap but good local food.

The Beach
The beach is just across the street from the hotel and offers plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, drinks, and snacks, as well as a beach massage. During the high season, the beach can be quite busy.
The Rooms
Courtyard by Marriott Phuket, Patong Beach Resort has been renovated and is well-designed. The rooms are large enough and well-designed. We stayed in a pool-access room, which was an excellent choice. It was 38 sqm and had a nice pool in the back, with large wooden decks and more privacy than the other immense central pools.
The two main positive points of pool access rooms are that, contrary to many hotels in Patong, 1) the rooms feature a small but comfortable terrace and 2) the sliding window does not face a busy walkway and, therefore, offers more privacy. Access to the water is easy and always warm, making it a perfect place to enjoy after the beach or even on an occasional rainy day.
The rooms and bathroom are well equipped with all the basic facilities you can expect to find in a 4-star hotel, including a large and very comfortable bathtub in some rooms.
Remember that the mini-bar is empty, which is now standard in 4-star hotels. Luckily, several convenience stores are nearby, so don’t forget to buy the drinks you wish to enjoy by the pool.

What’s Great For Kids
The Kids Club takes ages 5-12 from 9 am to 6 pm daily with full supervision. Children aged 4 and under need a parent present. The indoor space has arts and crafts stations, interactive games, a reading nook, and educational toys. Daily complimentary poolside snacks include fairy floss or popcorn.
The Fun Pool is the highlight for kids. It has a pirate ship, two water slides, fountains, and a glass-wall swimming area. It’s described as “wet and wild” and staff warn it gets busy with children having fun. The resort has four pools in total: Main Pool, Tropical Pool under palm trees, Serene Pool with ground-floor room access, and Fun Pool. Two swim-up bars.
Some rooms interconnect, which works well for families. Ground-level rooms at the Serene Pool have direct pool access from private terraces.
Direct Patong Beach access with the Endless Summer Beach Club and Goodfellas Pizzeria right on the beachfront. Nine restaurants and bars in total.
Good for: Families wanting direct Patong Beach access with a dedicated kids pool zone and pirate ship.
