Casuarina Beach Club is a new beach club at Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket on Bang Tao Beach, with sunbeds and cabanas directly on the sand. The menu is Mediterranean-style shared plates, and cocktails run around 1,250 Baht each. Options include classics like Tequila Sunrise and signature drinks with gin, rum, or vodka bases. A DJ plays through the afternoon and evening, with sunset being the main draw. Open noon to midnight daily. Good for drinks and light bites rather than full meals.
RAVA Beach Club

RAVA Beach Club opened in 2025 on Bang Tao Beach, run by Banyan Tree Phuket. I went during the first week, before the crowds found it. The scale surprised me. Three infinity pools stretch along 150 meters of beachfront, making it one of the longest beach clubs in Thailand. DJs play across several zones, though on my visit, it was still quiet enough to hear the waves.

Catch Beach Club

Catch Beach Club was the first beach club in Phuket, and it started the whole trend. Originally on Surin Beach, it moved to Bang Tao and is now as busy as it ever was. The Twinpalms team knows how to run a beach club better than anyone on the island. Music is great, the cocktail list is long, and on weekends the place is buzzing. It’s the kind of place where you come for one drink and stay until the stars are out.
Carpe Diem Beach Club

Carpe Diem sits at the very south of Bang Tao Beach, where long-tail boats float in front of the restaurant. The setting is beautifully designed, with tables by the sea, tall coconut trees, and a curved thatched roof covering a separate dining area. The menu features Mediterranean and Italian favourites, including wood-fired pizzas and fresh seafood. Cocktails and fine wines complete the picture. People come for dinner and stay for the music.

Maya Beach Club has a Mayan and Aztec-inspired design that sets it apart from everything else on the beach. It starts as a daytime beach club and transforms into a party venue after sunset. There is a fire show at 9:30 pm every night, and the music shifts through house, deep house, and afro house. Children are welcome until 9 pm, adults only after that. Ladies Night runs every Thursday at 9 pm.

Xana Beach Club is part of the Angsana Laguna Phuket Resort, right on Bang Tao Beach. The 35-metre swimming pool faces directly out to sea, and the round sofas on the sand are perfect for sunset cocktails. The menu covers burgers, tapas, oysters, tacos and Thai food, with a large cocktail list and wine collection. On some weekends, they host beach dinners or live music, but the vibe stays calm rather than wild. A good middle ground between relaxed and upscale.
NORA Beach Club

NORA Beach Club is on the beachfront of Amora Beach Resort in the central part of Bang Tao Beach. The design is modern and Ibiza-inspired, with indoor and outdoor dining, a beachside bar, sunbeds, a cabana area, and signature sunken seats for watching the sunset. The kitchen serves Mediterranean and Thai dishes using locally sourced ingredients. On the last Sunday of each month, they host a Family Sunday Brunch from noon to 3 pm.
Beach Pig Phuket

Beach Pig sits right on the sand in Bang Tao, in front of SAii Laguna Resort. It is small, casual, and unpretentious. No minimum spend, no dress code, just a bar on the beach. The menu covers Thai dishes, burgers, tacos, nachos and snacks, with a decent drinks list. They sometimes have a DJ or a small event, but even then, the volume stays reasonable. A good spot to end the day with a cold drink and your feet in the sand.

The Beach Phuket is a breezy beach club right on the sands of Bang Tao Beach, part of Arinara Resort but open to everyone. The terrace is wide and open, with a clear view of the beach. No loud music, no minimum spend, just a comfortable spot to sit by the sea.

Boat Avenue is the social centre of Bang Tao in the evening. This open-air shopping and dining neighbourhood at the entrance of Laguna has dozens of restaurants, trendy bars, and a few by the lake. Every Friday from 4 pm to 9 pm, the Fun Friday Night Market pops up with authentic Thai street food and local crafts. Villa Market is great for stocking up on imported goods and wines. Even if you are not shopping, it is a pleasant place to stroll and pick a restaurant for dinner.

7th Floor Restaurant sits on the rooftop of Sole Mio Boutique Hotel and Wellness near Bang Tao Beach. The design is shaped like a cruise ship deck, which gives it a feel different from anything else in the area.
