Established in 1902, Wat Khosit Wiharn was founded by Luang Pho Rot, a monk who journeyed from another province and settled at the foot of the mountain. The local community, inspired by his teachings, collaborated to build the temple. Initially named “Wat Khok Saeng” due to a prominent Saeng tree in the area, the temple was later renamed to its current title.
