Nai Dam Restaurant in Kathu
Nai Dam Restaurant in Kathu looks just like any restaurant by the roadside of Phuket. It’s not fancy, there are no exterior signs of luxury and even the restaurant signboard is hardly visible.
Kathu has a rich history and a strategic location between Patong Beach and Phuket Town. Despite being less known to tourists, Kathu offers a surorisingly vast choice of excellent local restaurants. The area is also home to several attractions, including Kathu Waterfall, the family-friendly Andamanda Water Park, the beautiful but lesser-kown Kathu Temple, and the exhilarating Flying Hanuman Zipline adventure.

Kathu waterfall is small but can be attractive during the rainy season when the strong stream and the tropical vegetation are dense and green. It is more pleasant than the higher Tonsai and Bang Pae Waterfalls, and access is free of charge.

Phuket Mining Museum was built with unusual grandeur in a remote and isolated location behind the Loch Palm Golf Club of Kathu, somewhere in the hills before Patong.
