Where to Eat in Nai Harn Beach?

In contrast to other beaches in Phuket, the dining scene at Nai Harn Beach spreads over a large area and is not concentrated in a small town. There are no restaurants directly on the beach, but you’ll find a few local spots under the tall trees along the sand, serving decent Thai food at reasonable prices. Nearby, more sophisticated restaurants like Rock Salt at The Nai Harn serve Western cuisine with views overlooking the beach. Inland, there are plenty of Thai and Western restaurants along the road. For excellent local seafood, the popular Rawai Beach is just a few kilometres away.

Rock Salt

Rock Salt Restaurant at The Nai Harn Resort in Phuket

Cuisine: Mediterranean, Seafood – Price: $$$ Pricey

Rock Salt is built on the rocky end of Nai Harn Beach, and it’s the only restaurant this close to the sand. The view is fantastic, and the breeze flowing through the open-air terrace makes it a great spot for lunch, a romantic dinner, or even just a drink. The food is mostly Mediterranean with a good focus on seafood. The Fine de Claire oysters are surprisingly good (half a dozen 750 Baht), and the moules marinières from Australia (600 Baht) are excellent too. Pizzas start at 395 Baht, pasta from 520 Baht. Not cheap, but if you want one special dinner with a great setting during your holiday, this might be the place. Read more
