La Trattoria Restaurant on Bang Tao Beach
La Trattoria is a well-known restaurant in the Dusit Thani Phuket on the popular Bang Tao Beach in Cherngtalay. Outside guests frequently come to La Trattoria for dinner in the spacious and beautiful white restaurant. Chef Lucas prepares with passion excellent Italian and Brazilian dishes, and a modern menu that you should try.
We tried Chef Lucas’s Brazilian special menu of the day, and it was a real treat, perfect to end a relaxing day by the beach, delicate, light and beautifully crafted. Here are some dishes listed on the menu: Pao de Queijo, caviar and truffled butter, Fish ceviche with kafir lime and salmon roe, Meltique beef, topinambour puree, farofa, chimichurri sauce a la moutarde a l’ancienne.
The description looks complicated, but you can see it from the photos. The desserts were sumptuous: Romeo e Julieta, Brazilian dessert, cheese and red guava, and best of all: goat cheese ice cream with Amazonian tonka beans.
