Located just a couple of kilometres from Patong Beach, it is a surprise to find such an oasis of peace by the sea, a perfect setting for a romantic dinner. The superb rustic design of Ta Khai is made of repurposed materials and inspired by small Thai villages. The restaurant is set in a garden by the sea, under large trees giving shade to several wooden houses.
Tri Trang Beach is just a few kilometres south of Patong Beach and is a superb and unsuspected haven of peace. There used to be a lot of confusion about the names of the four beaches around this peninsula.
