The Latest and Largest Beach Club in Phuket
RAVA Beach Club opened in late 2024 on Bang Tao Beach, right in front of the Laguna resort complex. It’s big. Really big. They claim 150 meters of beachfront and 3,500 square meters of space, which makes it one of the largest beach clubs in Thailand. Three infinity pools, a full restaurant, a DJ booth, and lots of daybed seating spread across the property.

We visited during the first week after opening. The place was still quiet, staff still figuring things out, but the scale was obvious. This isn’t a small boutique club. It’s built to handle crowds.
How It Works
The main area is outdoors with three pools facing the beach. Seating for about 180 people. DJs play from late morning onwards, nothing too loud during the day. If you want a daybed by the pool, there’s a minimum spend of 3,000 baht total, which works out to 1,500 baht per chair. We were planning to eat dinner anyway, so the minimum wasn’t a problem. But if you just want a quick drink and a swim, this might not be the place.

There’s also a members-only section called the Prestige lounge with its own pool and semi-private areas. That’s reserved for Laguna residence owners and Sanctuary Club members. We didn’t go in there.
The Restaurant

The restaurant section has an open grill setup where you can watch the cooks work over charcoal. They do aged meats, whole grilled fish, seafood platters, that kind of thing. The kitchen is visible from the dining area, which is nice if you’re into watching food being prepared. We didn’t eat from the grill on our visit, just had drinks and smaller plates, so I can’t comment on the quality of the steaks yet.
Prices are what you’d expect for a beach club in this part of Phuket. Not cheap. Cocktails run 350-450 baht, food portions are meant for sharing.
Who Is It For?
RAVA is clearly targeting the Laguna resort crowd and visitors to the northern Bang Tao area. It’s more polished and corporate than places like Catch Beach Club or Cafe del Mar, which have been around longer and have more of an established scene. Whether that’s good or bad depends on what you’re after.

The sunset views are good. The pools are clean. The music is fine. It’s a well-run operation that does exactly what you’d expect from a large-scale beach club. Nothing surprising, nothing wrong with it either. We’ll go back when it’s busier to see what the atmosphere is like with a full crowd.
