Naithon Beach
Naithon Beach is a quiet, mid-length beach on Phuket’s northwest coast, roughly halfway between the airport and Bang Tao Beach. The beach is about 600 metres long, with soft sand and a line of trees providing shade along the back.
Naithon sees far fewer visitors than the beaches further south, which keeps it peaceful and uncrowded. There are a handful of small hotels and guesthouses near the beach, along with a few local Thai restaurants. The area has a village feel, with none of the large-scale development that dominates Patong or Karon.
The water is clear and calm during the high season, good for swimming and relaxed snorkelling. During the monsoon months, the waves can pick up, but the beach remains accessible. A small car park and a couple of access paths make it easy to reach.
Naithon appeals to travellers who want a genuinely quiet beach without having to hike through the jungle to reach it. It has just enough infrastructure to be comfortable but not so much that it loses its character. For the full guide, see Naithon Beach.
