Stairway to Heaven
The partly hidden wooden staircases of Naithon Beach are a popular Instagram spot in Phuket. Located at the top of the hill at the very entrance of Naithon when driving north, they are easy to miss, so use your Google map to spot them. The parking is a bit small, so you may have to park a bit further and walk back up.
They have been around for a long time, but as usual, people would drive by too fast to even notice them. They go down all the way from the road to the beach, but their condition is degrading, so enjoy them while they still stand! Note that the condition of the beach below varies with the seasons. During the low season, a lot of debris can be brought in by the strong tides.
