Koh Phi Phi Leh is the smaller, uninhabited island of the Phi Phi archipelago, about 2 km south of Phi Phi Don. No one lives here, no hotels, no shops, no roads.

Phi Phi Islands are the most famous islands you can visit from Phuket, and for good reason. The scenery is honestly spectacular, with tall limestone cliffs dropping straight into clear water. Most people come on day trips, but staying overnight changes the experience completely. I’ve done both many times. The main island, Phi Phi Don, has hotels, restaurants and a surprisingly good nightlife scene. Phi Phi Leh is the uninhabited one with Maya Bay. Getting there takes about 90 minutes by speedboat or two hours by ferry from Rassada Pier.

Ferries & Speedboats from Phuket to Phi Phi
There are several ways to catch a ferry from Phuket to Phi Phi Islands. You can prebook in advance and include your hotel transfer, or if you are on a super tight budget you can even go to the Rassada Pier in Phuket Town and buy your ferry ticket from there. Not sure this second option is worth the hassle though.
