About Koh Panyi
This Koh Panyi Village Video takes you to a unique floating village in Phang Nga Bay. Built on stilts over the water, this small fishing community is home to around 1,600 people, mostly descendants of Indonesian sailors who settled here centuries ago.
The village is famous for its colourful houses, seafood restaurants, and a floating football field built by local children. Walking through the narrow wooden walkways, visitors can explore small shops, a mosque, and market stalls selling local handicrafts.
