Paradise Beach
Paradise Beach is a small cove on Phuket’s west coast, south of Patong Beach. The beach is about 150 metres long, enclosed by hills on both sides, with soft white sand and clear water. It is privately managed, so there is an entrance fee to access it.
The beach has organised facilities including sunbeds, umbrellas, a bar, and a restaurant. During the high season, it also operates as a small beach club with music and events. The setup is more commercial than other hidden beaches on the island, but the location and water quality are very good.
Snorkelling near the rocks on either side of the bay is popular, with a good variety of fish and coral. Kayaks are sometimes available for rent. The beach is sheltered enough that the water stays calm on most days during the dry season.
You can reach Paradise Beach by road from South Patong. There is a car park at the top, followed by a short walk down to the sand. Longtail boats from Patong Beach can also drop you off. For the full guide, see Paradise Beach.
