A small Thai restaurant on the beach
Nanork Seafood is a long-established local Thai restaurant facing the ocean, right on the beach of Kamala. The restaurant has been open for many decades and hasn’t changed much over the years. The owners and the staff are friendly and while the restaurant is a bit more old school than its neighbours, Nanork is a nice place to stop for lunch or dinner right on the beach.
We like to stop for breakfast with a simple continental breakfast with eggs and bacon, coffee and toast. It’s a good place to enjoy all the classic Thai dishes you heard about Phad Thai, fried rice and pineapple, curries and tom yum soup and some easy-going Western dishes, perfect for an American breakfast with a striking sea view.
While it is not as popular as its neighbours Smile Bar and Boat Bar, the place has a good location and the prices are reasonable.
