Northern Thai Food with Michelin Recognition
Ginger Farm Kitchen is a Thai restaurant chain from Chiang Mai that opened its first Phuket branch in Central Phuket. The brand earned Michelin Bib Gourmand status five years running, and the same chef from their award-winning Chiang Mai location runs this kitchen.

The restaurant sits in the Lanlom Zone on the ground floor of Central Festival Phuket, the semi-outdoor dining area near H&M Home. It’s a nice spot for evening meals when the temperature drops. The design mixes Northern Thai farmhouse style with beachy touches. Whitewashed wood panels, rattan chairs, and thatched roof details over the bar. They’ve got high chairs lined up for families, which tells you something about who eats here.

Four seating zones give you options, from bar stools to private booths with green wooden dividers. The outdoor terrace catches a breeze in the evening.

Their thing is organic ingredients from their own 22-rai farm in Saraphi, Chiang Mai. No MSG. Free-range pork and chicken. They work with partner farmers who follow the same standards. It’s not just marketing talk; the Michelin people checked.
What to Order
The free-range crispy pork belly (395 Baht) is what everyone orders. Ten pieces, three dipping sauces, crispy outside, soft inside. We had it. It’s good.

Khao soi gai (185 Baht) is the Northern Thai curry noodle soup that put Chiang Mai on the food map. Rich coconut broth, egg noodles, tender chicken. They do a vegetarian version at the same price.

The nam prik noom we tried was proper Northern Thai. Green chilli dip with pork crackling and raw vegetables. Spicy. The yam khai dao (crispy egg salad) had good heat and texture from the fried eggs and fresh herbs. We also had a kaeng khae, that earthy jungle curry with bamboo shoots and mushrooms.

Organic brown rice is available if you want it. They have wine too, a small selection displayed at the bar. Nothing fancy but decent enough.
