Best Tours in Phang Nga Bay

A Selection of Popular Tours in Phang Nga Bay

Phang Nga Bay is about 30 km northeast of Phuket, and it’s one of those places that looks even better in real life than in photos. Massive limestone karsts shoot straight out of emerald green water. James Bond Island gets all the attention because of that 1974 movie, but honestly, the whole bay is like that. Dozens of weird rock formations everywhere you look.

You can explore Phang Nga Bay by longtail boat, speedboat, or kayak. Each gives you a different experience. Speedboat tours cover more ground but rush through everything. Longtail boats are slower and noisier but feel more authentic. Kayaking lets you paddle into sea caves and hongs, those hidden lagoons inside the karsts, which is something the bigger boats can’t do.

Most tours stop at James Bond Island, Koh Panyee floating village for lunch, and a few caves or viewpoints. Full-day trips run 8 to 9 hours, including hotel transfers. Prices start around 1,200 Baht for basic group tours and go up to 5,000+ Baht for private speedboat or sailing experiences. Below is our selection of popular Phang Nga Bay tours.
