A restaurant and coffee shop in Phuket Town
Lady Coco is a restaurant, coffee shop and Salon de Thé, part of the now legendary The Memory at On On Hotel on Phang Nga Road in Old Phuket Town. The On On Hotels became famous for appearing in the opening of the movie ‘The Beach’, with Leonardo Dicaprio in 2000, making it an extra reason to stop over for a cake and eventually a selfie. The hotel has been entirely renovated since the movie and is now chic and very Instagram friendly, and this nicely decorated restaurant is a welcome addition.
Such a restaurant in a heritage hotel is an excellent opportunity to stop for lunch, dinner or just some lovely pastries and ice creams. Guests can choose to sit in any one of the five areas, including at the beautiful bar.
What to Order
The restaurant serves Thai and international food, plus fun cocktails and excellent desserts. Here are a few of the many dishes available. Unfortunately, the menu is a little shorter than usual due to the situation, but everyone will find a nice treat. Try the Crispy Pork belly (295 baht), Roasted Duck (420 baht), Tom Yam and Tom Ka (270 baht), Syu Mai with lobster(220 baht), Shiitake Syu Mai (170 baht), Dumplings with pork (220 baht), Tuna Tataki (320 baht), Scallops Vermicelli (395 baht), Smoked Salmon Tartare (380 baht).
Afternoon Breaks
Walking around the old town in the afternoon can be hot and tiring, and you might need a short break. So sit down for a while, have a cake or ice cream with a tea set or a coffee. Lady Coco is an excellent way to appreciate the atmosphere of the streets of Phuket Town and take some selfies in a beautifully decorated surroundings.
