10 Best Hotels in Talat Noi

Where to Stay in Talat Noi?

Talat Noi is one of the oldest neighbourhoods in Bangkok, and there aren’t many hotels right inside it. Most options are in the surrounding Chinatown area, within walking distance of the street art, old temples, and workshops that make Talat Noi worth visiting. Only one hotel on this list has a pool, and only one is a proper 4-star. The rest are smaller boutique hotels, guesthouses, and hostels. None of them is fancy, but they put you in the right spot. Here are 10 places to stay, sorted by distance to Talat Noi.

Hotel Royal Bangkok@Chinatown

Hotel Royal Bangkok@Chinatown

4-star hotel – Distance to Talat Noi: 680 m

Hotel Royal Bangkok is the only 4-star option on this list and the only one with a pool. The rooftop saltwater pool and Royal Sky Lounge give you a good view over the neighbourhood. MRT Wat Mangkon is 200 metres away. The hotel is 680 metres from Talat Noi, so not quite walking-in-your-slippers distance, but close enough for an easy stroll through the market streets.

3-star hotel – Distance to Talat Noi: 900 m

ASAI is a modern lifestyle hotel on Charoen Krung Road, part of the Dusit hotel group. The design is minimalist with smaller rooms (19 to 24 sqm) and larger communal spaces, which is the brand’s thing. Rooms are soundproofed with rainfall showers. The JAMJAM restaurant downstairs serves Thai-Chinese fusion food and doubles as a social space. It’s steps from MRT Wat Mangkon and about 300 metres from the Yaowarat street food strip. It’s the furthest from Talat Noi at 900 metres, but the walk through Chinatown is half the fun. Good for solo travellers and couples who want a well-designed base.

I’m Chinatown Residence

I'm Chinatown Residence

3-star hotel – Distance to Talat Noi: 1 km
