Hi-So Rooftop Bar at So Sofitel Bangkok

Hi-So Rooftop Bar at So / Bangkok

When the Hi-So rooftop bar at So/ Bangkok opened in Bangkok, we thought this was just another luxury hotel, so how great could it be? Sathorn Road is nice and even posh, but it mostly looks like a large avenue lined with tall and shiny skyscrapers and a growing collection of luxury hotels.

          Rod Fai Night Market Bangkok

Rod Fai Night Market (Srinakarin Train Market) is an immense playground for teenagers on weekends. Rod Fai market means train market as it used to be on some abandoned train track, taking advantage of old abandoned brick buildings.

            Cielo Rooftop Bar

Cielo Sky Bar Bangkok on Sukhumvit

Cielo Sky Bar is another fantastic high spot at the intersection of Rama IV and Sukhumvit Road in Bangkok. The view from the 46th floor of the Luk Condominium is surprising considering that the building is located more in the outskirts of town than other famous rooftops

              Le Du Restaurant in Bangkok

              Le Du Restaurant Bangkok

Le Du restaurant on Silom is one of our favourite restaurants in Bangkok, if not our favourite. We were lucky to discover it from the very early days and enjoyed the evolution from a young and shy hidden restaurant to a world-class, Michelin-starred venue.

Bangkok Forensic Museum at Siriraj Hospital

Bangkok Forensic Museum is not on people’s top 10 list of things to see in Bangkok, at least not on a first trip, but it seems to rank high on people’s ‘Off the beaten track travel guide’.

                            Mojjo Rooftop Bar Bangkok

Mojjo rooftop bar came out of nowhere in the Sukhumvit area, exactly behind the Emporium mall, the same week Radisson Blu and Novotel Sukhumvit launched their own rooftops nearby. The rooftop race is just getting more fun every week!

Speakeasy Rooftop Bar at Hotel Muse Bangkok on Langsuan Street is not your usual rooftop bar: like the entire hotel, Speakeasy displays a convoluted Art-Deco design to create a fancy atmosphere. And it’s a partial success. The lobby of the bar is nicely crafted but rather dark, like the rest of the hotel.
