Siwilai City Club
Siwilai City Club is not your typical rooftop bar. It’s only on the 5th floor of Central Embassy, so you won’t get sweeping skyline views, but I’ve always liked it for the easy-going vibe

The Pickwicks Chronicles doesn’t look like much from the street — a dark, slightly mysterious building on Langsuan Road with a name that sounds more like a secondhand bookshop than a bar.

El Gaucho is well known in Bangkok as the main restaurant in Sukhumvit, next to Terminal 21 Shopping Mall. This new branch has only one vast room because of the high price. The choice of cuts is immense and maybe a bit intimidating at first, so if you are unfamiliar, don’t start with the most expensive meats; it can build up very fast. Side dishes are also surprisingly expensive.
