A Sophisticated Shopping Mall in Siam

Siam Discovery is a 7-floor sophisticated shopping mall in the Siam area of Bangkok, it is within walking distance from Siam Paragon and Siam Center. It is a very nice place to walk around because its design is unique, unlike any other shopping mall in Bangkok. The interior and exterior were designed by a Japanese company called Nendo, resulting in a very aesthetic architecture. Each floor has its theme or according to Siam Discovery, it is called labs.

Siam Discovery: Ground Floor

The ground floor is called Her Lab. You will find that this floor has medium to high-end designer brands for women’s fashion. The floor is separated into 2 sections. The first section is the big shops. These big shops are high-end international designer brands like Issey Miyake, Alexander Wang and Paul Smith.

The other section is an open area that has many shops altogether, this area includes brands that are quite popular among young adults like Mardi and Marimekko. These shops are on the smaller side and prices are much lower compared to the high-end brands.

Siam Discovery: M Floor

This floor is called His Lab. You will find a collection of men’s clothing brands on this floor. Similar to the ground floor. The floor is separated into big shops and an open section where bigger shops are high-end designers like Club 21 which is a store that have a wide variety of high-street fashion brands.

The open section also consists of a wide array of clothing selections. The types of clothing you can find are gentleman style clothing where clothing items feel higher quality.

Siam Discovery: 1st Floor

This floor is called the Street Lab. This is the floor for people who are into fashion as there is a huge variety of options on this floor. Famous brands on this floor include Madmatter, Adidas and Lacoste.

The middle section of this floor is called the Street Labs 1 and 2. This zone has a big selection of apparel like streetwear, shoes, sportswear and outdoor wear.

Siam Discovery: 2nd Floor

The 2nd floor is called the Digital Lab. There are many shops on this floor like Starbucks and Muji however the main attraction of this floor is the digital lab. This is where they sell all types of gadgets from cameras, headphones, speakers, etc.

This floor also has a zone for gaming. This is perfect for kids as they would be able to try some new games. Also, there is a big Xiaomi shop on this floor. Xiaomi is known for its high-tech home equipment and these shops have a wide range of products.

Siam Discovery: 3rd Floor

This floor is called the Creative Lab. The floor has many cafes like Cafe Amazon and Phufa. There is also Ecotopia, which is a shop that sells products for people who are into saving the environment.

Siam Discovery: 4th Floor

The 4th floor is the play lab. This is perfect for teenagers and young adults as there is Legend Heroes which is a sports simulation game. There are a bunch of sports such as Baseball, Football, Basketball, Archery, etc. It is 250 baht for 1 hour. Which is more than enough time to try all of the sports games available.

Siam Discovery: 5th Floor

Lastly, the 5th Floor is the Retail Innovation Lab. There are only 2 things on this floor one being Virgin Active which is a fitness club and the other being Madam Tussaud’s which is a showcase of bee wax models sculpted into celebrities.

How to get to Siam Discovery

You can take the BTS and stop at BTS Siam station and then exit the station on the side with Siam Paragon and Siam Center. Another way to get here is by Khlong Saen Saep boat and get off at Hua Chang (Siam Square Pier).
