Samyan Mitrtown Shopping Mall

A Convenient Mall near Hua Lamphong Railway Station

Samyan Mitrtown is a mid‑size, lifestyle‑oriented shopping mall with a mix of everyday and trendy shopping. Inside you’ll find fashion chains, sportswear, lifestyle and gadget stores, beauty shops, bookstores, and pop‑up booths, plus a vast supermarket in the lower levels. It’s more curated than massive “destination” malls like Siam Paragon, making it easy to cover in a single visit.

Food is the real highlight. The mall has multiple floors of restaurants, mostly the usual franchises, from Thai street‑food style vendors and casual noodle and rice shops to Korean, Japanese, and Western chains, dessert cafés, and bubble tea. There’s also a strong late‑night food and café scene, popular with nearby university students and office workers, so you’ll still find options open later than many other malls.

Location

Location is one of its biggest advantages. The complex is directly connected to the MRT Sam Yan station (Exit 2), so you can walk in air‑conditioning from the train. It sits on Rama IV Road, directly opposite the Wat Hua Lamphong temple across the street, which you can easily visit on foot. Hua Lamphong (railway station / MRT Hua Lamphong) is close by—just one MRT stop away or a short taxi or motorbike ride.
