The Red Building Chatuchak

The Red Building: Vintage Shopping Opposite Chatuchak Market

The Red Building in Chatuchak is located across from Chatuchak Market and is packed with vintage stuff. The first two floors are filled with antiques and collectables, while the upper floors focus on rare vintage clothing, accessories, and toys dating back to the 1950s. Good for collectors and anyone into old clothes. The top floor has a food court, a good spot to cool off after shopping. Most visitors don’t know about this place.

The First and Second Floors

The first and second floors are full of antique shops selling old furniture, radios, typewriters, vintage signs, and all sorts of collectables. It’s like a mini time capsule, and each shop has something different. Prices are generally reasonable, most items aren’t overpriced, but rarer pieces cost more.

The Third to Fifth Floors

The third to fifth floors are packed with vintage clothing: faded Levi’s, band tees, varsity jackets, military gear, and workwear. Some pieces are genuinely rare, from the 1950s onward. Original military coats, old Harley tees, denim from decades ago, and unique one-offs you won’t find anywhere else. Not just clothes either, there are also vintage toys, collectables, shoes, bags, and accessories mixed into the racks.

The Sixth Floor

The sixth floor is an open space with a food court and seating. The whole building is air-conditioned, so it’s a good escape from the heat after walking through Chatuchak Market. Whether you’re hunting for something specific or just browsing, the building is worth a look.
