4 Best Rooftop Bars in Siam

Explore the Rooftops of Siam

Siam doesn’t have many rooftop bars, but the ones here are convenient if you’ve spent the day shopping. CRU Champagne Bar sits on the 58th floor of the Centara Grand, right above CentralWorld. Red Sky is in the same building, one floor higher, with a more traditional rooftop setup.

We usually end up at CRU when we want something quick after walking through the malls all afternoon. The champagne list is excellent, the views stretch across the city, and you can be back down at BTS Chit Lom in five minutes. Red Sky works better for a longer evening, proper cocktails and a bigger menu. The location is the main advantage here. Siam is where everyone ends up at some point, whether for shopping at Paragon or Siam Center, catching a movie, or just changing BTS lines.

Having a couple of solid rooftop options right above CentralWorld means you don’t need to travel across the city for sunset drinks. These aren’t the highest rooftops in Bangkok or the most dramatic. But they’re reliable, easy to reach, and good enough that we’ve gone back several times. Sometimes that matters more than having the best view in the city.

🍹 The Rooftops of Siam:

Red Sky at Central World

Red Sky Rooftop Restaurant and Bar in Bangkok
55th Floor – Location: Siam
Red Sky has been around for a while, and it’s still one of the better rooftop bars in the Siam area. Located on the 55th floor of Centara Grand at CentralWorld, the 360-degree view is all around you — not quite as high as some others, but central enough that you get a wide-angle look at Bangkok’s skyline. What makes Red Sky stand out is the curved design of the rooftop. The layout gives every table a good view, and there’s a glowing arch overhead that lights up in different colours as the night goes on. It adds a nice touch, especially in photos.

CRU at Centara Grand

CRU at Centara Grand
58th Floor – Location: Siam
CRU Champagne Bar is one of Bangkok’s most exclusive rooftop experiences — and definitely one of the most memorable. Located on the 58th floor of Centara Grand, it’s just a few floors above the more casual Red Sky Bar, but the change in atmosphere is quite dramatic. Up here, it’s all about Champagne, panoramic views, and a refined, high-society vibe. The name CRU comes from the French wine classification system and is pronounced “crew,” not C.R.U. It’s designed for people who enjoy their bubbles in style — and yes, the Champagne menu is extensive, with options ranging from around 600 to 1,000 baht a glass. Once in a while, it’s a nice treat.

View Bangkok Rooftop Bar & Restaurant

Bar 9 Rooftop Bar at Novotel Platinum
9th floor – Location: Siam
View Bangkok Rooftop Bar & Restaurant is a casual and friendly rooftop bar on the 9th floor of the Novotel Bangkok Platinum, right on the edge of Pratunam. It’s not very high but still offers a wide view over Ratchaprasong Intersection, CentralWorld, and the busy road below. The view isn’t wide open like on taller rooftops, but you can see across to Ratchaprasong, with lots of movement down below. I usually come here when I want a quick break from the heat or shopping, just to sit down with a cold beer and let the noise fade out for a while. There’s no pressure here. The menu is simple: local beers, some international options, a few cocktails, and snacks like fried chicken or spring rolls.
