Belgian Bar in Sukhumvit
Belga Rooftop Bar & Brasserie sits on the 32nd floor of Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit. It’s the only place in Bangkok doing proper Belgian food. You’ll find traditional dishes like Moules Frites, Liège Waffles, croquettes, and Salade Liégoise on the menu. The chefs know what they’re doing with Belgian classics, and everything tastes authentic.
The beer selection is impressive, with over 50 Belgian labels on tap and in bottles. That’s the real draw for beer lovers. Wine and cocktails are available too, but honestly, come for the Belgian beers. You can watch the chefs work through the open kitchen while you eat.
The space feels like a European brasserie. Dark wood, maroon leather seats, marble tables, and copper lamps create the right mood. Belgian murals on the walls add character. You get both indoor dining and a terrace with views across Bangkok’s skyline. The city lights at night are particularly good.
It holds around 200 people spread across different areas, the main dining room, bar, and a private section. Works well for intimate dinners or larger groups. Staff are friendly and helpful. Access is straightforward via BTS Asoke with a direct skywalk to the hotel.
People go for sunset drinks, after-work beers, romantic dinners, or just hanging out. The combination of genuine Belgian cooking, serious beer selection, and decent views makes it stand out. It’s not the cheapest option in Sukhumvit, but you’re paying for the experience and quality.
