Rooftop bar at Park Hyatt Bangkok
Penthouse Bar and Grill at Park Hyatt Bangkok is one of the most stylish rooftop venues in the city, and a great place to head after shopping at Central Embassy, which is just below. I’ve stopped by more than once after wandering through the mall — it’s a perfect way to transition from retail therapy to a relaxing evening with a view.
The Penthouse is spread across three floors, and each space has its own mood. There’s the rooftop bar at the top with great views over the city, a whisky room tucked away for quiet drinks, and a dining area that focuses on grilled meats and seafood. The atmosphere is elegant, but not in a way that feels too formal. The drinks list includes premium wines, classic and signature cocktails, and a few rare whiskies.
It’s very easy to reach from BTS Phloen Chit, and once you’re upstairs, the atmosphere is calm and a bit more refined than most rooftops. If you’re looking for a place to wind down after a day around town, Penthouse is a
solid choice.
