A Colourful Restaurant in Ploenchit

Hidden Room Langsuan isnโ€™t actually hiddenโ€”if anything, itโ€™s right in front of you as you walk next to it. Itโ€™s on the ground floor of The Portico Langsuan, directly facing the footpath of busy Langsuan Street. With full-length windows and a wall of neon signs glowing from inside, it actually catches your eye as you walk past.

Itโ€™s much bigger than it looks at first. Inside, the space is open and bright, with rows of dining tables and a live music corner tucked near the back. Itโ€™s not dark or moody like some bars, with bold, colourful lighting used more for decoration than atmosphere. Outside, the terrace is wide and popular, especially now that Langsuan Road has been completely redone with better pavements, better lighting and more walkability.

The menu covers both Thai and Western favourites. Think pasta, burgers, steaks and deep-fried appetisers mixed with local dishes. The foodโ€™s fine, but the Western plates are a bit on the pricey side. Most people come for the drinks anyway. Itโ€™s a popular after-work stop for groups grabbing beersโ€”thereโ€™s a decent selection of local and international labelsโ€”and the vibe leans more fun than fancy.

Thereโ€™s no mystery here, despite the name. Hidden Room Langsuan is all about easy access, casual drinks, and a lively street-front terrace. Itโ€™s a good casual place to spot after work, with a friendly team, especially since itโ€™s very close to BTS Chidlom, not far from Central Chidlom.
