Dumplings Restaurant in Chinatown
Hagow Yaowarat is a well-known restaurant in the heart of Bangkok’s Chinatown. Its bright red LED lights and unique exterior make it stand out along Yaowarat Road. Whether you’re just passing through or searching for delicious dumplings or Chinese food, this place certainly attracts you.
We ordered their signature hagow set, which comes with 4 hagows, each with a different filling. All were perfectly steamed, juicy and delicious. We also got two rice bowls – one topped with Chinese braised pork belly, full of rich, savoury flavour and melt-in-your-mouth texture, and the other with classic moo daeng (Thai-style red BBQ pork), which had that sweet-salty balance and went great with the rice.
They’ve got seating upstairs too, so you can chill and eat comfortably – no need to rush like with most street stalls. Everything came out hot and perfect. Flavours were good and portions were just right. Prices are fair too, especially for Chinatown. If you’re in Bangkok’s Chinatown and want a quick, tasty meal, this one’s a good shout.
