Analog Space & Vintage Shop on Song Wat Road, Bangkok
Analog Space & Vintage Shop is a vintage collective housed in a century-old building on Song Wat Road in Bangkok’s Chinatown area. The building, over 100 years old, has been converted into a community space for collectors and vintage sellers.
What’s Inside
The project includes multiple vintage businesses within the same historic building:

**หนวดกล้องฟิล์ม (Film Camera Shop)** is the main tenant, selling second-hand film cameras sourced from Japan plus vintage items the owner has collected over the years. The shop owner explained: “Most items in the shop are personal collections—clothing, watches, and dolls on the shelf. We’ve been collecting for decades, and some items we don’t sell because we’ve kept them for ten-plus years.”
**Khong Suay** (meaning “Beautiful Things”) is a European-style vintage home décor shop importing items from the UK, Germany, France, and other countries.
The building also has a vinyl record shop and a rare vintage clothing shop in adjacent stalls.
The Building’s History

The renovation preserved the building’s original character. The address still displays an old-style house number “ฤ๔๕๒” in the Thai Buddhist Era system, a format no longer used in modern numbering. The team kept the aged appearance intentionally, only applying paint to prevent deterioration and installing air conditioning without changing the structure. The project only occupies the ground floor; upper levels remain untouched.
Location
The shop is on Song Wat Road, which has changed from a forgotten trading street into one of Bangkok’s more interesting neighbourhoods. Time Out magazine ranked it the 39th coolest neighbourhood in the world.
