Analog Space & Vintage Shop

Bangkok’s Century-Old Vintage Paradise

Analog Space & Vintage Shop is a vintage collective housed in a century-old building on Song Wat Road in Bangkok’s Chinatown area. The shop is part of the broader “Project Analog Space & Vintage Shop,” which converted an old building over 100 years old into a community hub for collectors and vintage enthusiasts.

What Makes It Special

The project includes multiple vintage businesses within the same historic structure:

หนวดกล้องฟิล์ม (Film Camera Shop) is the anchor tenant, specialising in second-hand film cameras curated from Japan and vintage items collected by the owner over the years. The shop owner described the inventory: “Most items in the shop are personal collections—clothing, watches, and dolls on the shelf. We’ve been collecting for decades, and some items we don’t sell because we’ve kept them for ten-plus years.”

Khong Suay (meaning “Beautiful Things”) is a European-style vintage home décor shop that imports items from the United Kingdom, Germany, France, and other countries.

The building also features a vinyl record shop and a rare vintage clothing shop in adjacent stalls.

The Building’s History

The renovation preserved the building’s original character. The address displays an old-style house number “ฤ๔๕๒” in the Thai Buddhist Era system—a number that no longer appears in the modern numbering system. The team kept the aged appearance intentionally, only applying paint to prevent deterioration and installing air conditioning without disrupting the structure’s integrity. The project only occupies the ground floor, leaving upper levels untouched.

Location and Access

The shop is situated on Song Wat Road, which has transformed from a forgotten trading street into one of Bangkok’s coolest neighbourhoods, recognised by Time Out magazine as the 39th coolest neighbourhood in the world.
